Kevin Basinger - Head Coach - Offensive Coordinator, Running Backs
Kevin Basinger is a 1984 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and a 1988 graduate of the University of Findlay. He is entering his 12th year as a math teacher and head coach at Bellbrook High School. During his tenure at Bellbrook the Golden Eagles have won the Southwestern Buckeye League title in ’99, ’01, ’03, ’04 going 10-0 in ’99 and have qualified for the OHSAA playoffs in ’99, ’01, ’02, ’03, ’04 reaching the regional finals in ‘01. Kevin has coached the quarterbacks, offensive line, and most recently the running backs. He also serves as the offensive coordinator.
Before becoming the head coach at Bellbrook in 1997 Kevin taught math and coached at Greeneview high school. During his 9 years at Greeneview he served as a junior high coach one season, the defensive coordinator for four seasons, and as the head coach the last four seasons. During his time as head coach the Rams had a 32 - 8 overall record and KTC champions and a 10-0 season in 1996. At Greeneview he also served as the head baseball coach for 9 seasons.
Kevin lives near Cedarville with his wife Heidi. They have been married for 16 years and have two children Jordan (11) and Jenna (9). |
Jim Benetis - Assistant Head Coach - Special Teams Coordinator, WR and DB coach
Jim Benetis is a 1986 graduate of Newton Falls High School and a 1991 graduate of Kent State University. Jim has been a teacher in the Bellbrook Schools since 1992. He has been coaching high school football for the last 15 years at Bellbrook. Jim is currently teaching 6th grade Social Studies at the middle school. He has also coached 8th grade girls basketball for 16 years at Bellbrook. Jim is the assistant head coach, special teams coordinator, and Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers coach. Jim is married to his wife Denise and has 3 kids Daley (4th grade), Cali (first grade) and Luke (2 years old). |
Mark Rogal - Defensive Coordinator, Strength Coordinator, and Linebackers
Mark Rogal is a 1982 graduate of Yorkville High School (Illinois) and a 1987 graduate of Illinois State University. He is entering his 9th year of coaching at BHS, during that time he has served as Linebacker Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Mark also serves as the teams strength and conditioning coordinator. He previously served as Head Coach at Carlisle High School, and an assistant coach at Lebanon, Hamilton, Moeller, and Trotwood Madison. Family: Wife - Tina, Children - Kristen (18), Zac (16). |
Scott Anderson - Quarterbacks Coach
Scott Anderson is a 1987 graduate of Xenia High School. He played his college football at Wilmington College, graduating in 1991. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Dayton in 1993. He was an assistant coach at Fairborn High School for 2 years and then an assistant coach at Tecumseh High School from 1993-2003. Scott became an assistant at Bellbrook High School in 2004 and has coached the Wide Receivers. He is currently a 5th grade teacher at Bell Creek Intermediate School. Scott is married to his wife of 15 years, Kelley, and they have a 10 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. |
Julian Gordon - Defensive Backs Coach, JV Defensive Coordinator
Julian Gordon grew up in Urbana, Ohio and attended Wilmington College and graduated in ‘97. Julian has lived in Bellbrook four years and is in his 2nd year of coaching at Bellbrook High. He coaches defensive backs and is the Junior Varsity Defensive Coordinator. Julian has several years of coaching experience at different levels with both football and Wrestling. Julian is married to his wife of 9 years Sarah; they have one child Blake Gordon. |

Charlie O'Dell - Offensive Line Coach, JV Offensive Coordinator
Charlie O'Dell is a 2002 graduate of Bellbrook High School. He played offensive line at Wittenberg University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in History in 2006. He has coached offensive line at Greeneview High School for the past two seasons while completing his Masters Degree. Charlie currently teaches social studies at Bellbrook Middle School.

Todd Paul - Defensive Line Coach
Todd Paul is a 1991 graduate of Stebbins High School. He has a B.A. from The Ohio State University, a B.S. from Urbana University and his Master's degree from the University of Dayton. He began coaching at BHS in 1999. Prior to that, he coached 2 years at Glen Este High School in Cincinnati. He is a resident of Bellbrook and his wife Teresa (Brockman) is a 1993 graduate of BHS. He has two children, Kayla and Justinian. Kayla attends Stephen Bell Elementary. |
Dustin Crute - Freshmen Assistant Coach, Assistant Offense Coach
Dustin Crute is a 2003 graduate of Bellbrook High School. Dustin is finishing his bachelors degree at the University of Dayton. Dustin played wide receiver for Bellbrook and is beginning his first season with the Golden Eagle as a coach. Dustin is a freshmen assistant coach and is assisting with the offense. |
Wes Napier - Punters and Kickers Coach, Offensive Scouting
Wes Napier is a Graduate of Greeneview High School. Wes worked with the Cincinnati Bengals for a number of years as an equipment manager and special teams helper. Wes is beginning his first season with the Golden Eagles as a coach. Wes is helping with the punters and kickers and also offensive scouting. |
Mike Anderson -
Mike is a graduate of Xenia High School. He played his college football at Wilmington College, and received his Master's Degree from the University of Xavier. Mike started the football program at East Clinton High School in 1965. He later moved back to coach at Xenia in 1969. He became the head coach there in 1974 and held that position until 1990. In 1991, he became an assistant coach at Wilmington College and held that position for nearly a decade. He has recently coached as an assistant at Tecumseh High School as well as at Bellbrook High School. He is currently an Industrial Arts teacher. Mike is married to his wife of 45 years, Sherry, and they have one son and one daughter. Mike also has 4 grandson's and a granddaughter. |
Joel Douglas -
Joel is starting his first season as an assistant football coach in the Bellbrook High School football program. His football playing career started at Bellbrook High School where he played tight end, receiver, nose tackle, outside line backer and defensive end. He is a graduate of the class of 1996. His college career began at Sinclair Community College where he played basketball and baseball. He received his degree in PE and Recreation at The University of Toledo, where he played defensive tackle.
The past two years he was the defensive line coach and an assistant offensive line coach for both Oakwood and West Carrolton high school. Before that he coached football for 2 years at Bellbrook Junior High. His coaching experience also includes five years of baseball and one year of girls basketball. |
Joe Kenney - Equipment Manager
Joe is a 1982 graduate of Bellbrook High School. He has 21 year of experience as an Equipment Manager. His first 2 years were spent at Jefferson and Trotwood High Schools, and the past 19 years at Bellbrook. He was also spent one year as the Equipment Manager for the Semi-Pro Dayton Cowboys. His parents are Jack and Carlene Kenney, and he has 3 brothers, Jack, Jim, Jerry and a sister Jean. All of who were Bellbrook High School grads. |
