MVP’s D-III Fab 5 Football Rankings
1. Eaton: The Eagles have always been a good, solid program. This season they have a chance to be great. With names like Fudge, Caudill and Shepard, this is Eaton’s year. You heard it here first. Besides…head coach Ron Neanen deserves it.
2. Tippecanoe: Steady. Red Devils continue success.
3. Graham: The wrestling and basketball teams are lights out. This fall the football team joins them. The Falcons may have a first year head coach – Nic Black – but they’ve got motivation other schools don’t. Senior WR Ethan Ward (basketball standout) and senior RB Logan White (standout wrestler) will make sure the team knows what it takes. Expect success.
4. Springfield Shawnee: The Braves are ready for a fight. Shawnee returns plenty of talent including five players who earned all-conference recognition last year.
5. Bellbrook: Why not the Eagles? A talented and young offensive line led by junior tight ends Bryan Baird (6-4, 215) and Matthew Longo (6-3, 215) will help protect and receive for talented senior quarterback Jay Bucher (6-4, 215). Bellbrook is due. |
